5 Japan's machine tool accessories industry has achieved year-on-year growth in production and sales

The latest statistics released by the Japan Machine Tool Accessories Association (JMAA) in May 2010 show that the output value of Japanese machine tool accessories in that month was 11.016 billion yen (about 862 million yuan), a decrease of 4.23% from the previous month, but a significant increase from the same period last year. An increase of 149%; sales of machine tool accessories were 12.013 billion yen (about 940 million yuan), a decrease of 4.88% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 150%.
