According to the preliminary data of machine tool orders released by the Japan Machine Tool Industry Association (JMTBA) recently, Japan's machine tool orders in January fell by 84.4% year-on-year and 49.3% month-on-month, with orders amounting to 18.703 billion yen. Among them, in January, domestic machine tool orders in Japan fell by 84% year-on-year and 41.3% month-on-month; overseas machine tool orders fell by 84.8% year-on-year and 55% month-on-month.
