In the first three quarters of 2011, the German machine tool industry performed well

The latest data released by the German Machine Tool Association shows that in the first three quarters of 2011, the total output value of German machine tools was 8.97 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 36%, while the total machine tool output value in 2010 fell by 3% year-on-year. Among them, the total output value of metal processing machine tools was 6.53 billion euros, an increase of 39% year-on-year: the total output value of metal cutting machine tools was 4.73 billion euros, an increase of 46% year-on-year; metal forming machine tools were 1.8 billion euros, an increase of 25% year-on-year. The total output value of machine tool components was 1.69 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 31%, and the total output value of assembly, repair and maintenance was 750 million euros, an increase of 23%. In the first three quarters of 2011, the new orders of the German machine tool industry were 12.51 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 74%, of which domestic orders were 4.24 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 71%, and foreign orders were 8.27 billion euros, an increase of 76%. In addition to assembly and maintenance, according to Aoli Machine Tool Network, in the first three quarters of 2011, the total output value of German machine tools was 8.22 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 38%; exports were 5.61 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 35%, imports were 1.99 billion euros, an increase of 48% ; Domestic consumption was 4.6 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 45%. The export rate was 68.2% and the import rate was 43.2%. In 2011, the average annual capacity utilization rate of the German machine tool industry was 93.8%, compared with 95.5% in October; the average annual undelivered order ratio was 9.3%, compared with 9.5% in October.
