Makino Milling Tool to spend 6 billion yen to build a new factory

It is reported that the large-scale machine tool company Makino Milling Tool Co., Ltd. plans to invest 6 billion yen and will build a new factory covering an area of u200bu200babout 120,000 square meters in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan by the end of 2009. The new factory will mainly produce peripheral equipment for machine tools, and will also be equipped with related facilities for the development of processing technology for aircraft parts and so on. Although the current market demand for machine tools is affected by the slowdown in economic development in developed countries, Makino believes that orders will increase in the medium and long term, so he intends to continue investing. The current investment in the project is about 6 billion yen. This is also the first time that Makino has established a new factory in Japan since it established the Fuji Katsuyama Office (Fujikawaguchiko Town) in 1987.
