This machining center is the latest model in Matsuura Machinery's vertical machining center lineup with rich configurations and optimized cost-effectiveness. In recent years, with the rise of the Asian economy, the market for vertical machining centers has declined sharply. In order to improve the price competitiveness of vertical machining centers in the global market, Matsuura Machinery signed an OEM agreement with a Taiwanese manufacturer and developed the VX-1000 model. Inheriting the manufacturing know-how of vertical machining centers accumulated by Matsuura Machinery over many years, and carrying out new designs, we succeeded in reducing the price while maintaining the quality of Matsuura Machinery. As the heart of the machining center, the spindle is equipped with a MAXIA spindle with a speed of 15,000 r/min independently developed by Matsuura Machinery. It is assembled and adjusted in a dedicated clean room, and it can handle everything from high-speed machining of aluminum to difficult-to-cut materials.
