Mori Seiki NMH10000 DCG won the Japan Brand Award

Mori Seiki's 5-axis control high-precision horizontal machining center NMH10000DCG won the Japan Brand Award at the 38th Machinery Industry Design Awards sponsored by the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun and sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This product utilizes Mori Seiki's unique technologies DCG (Center of Gravity Drive) and DDM (Direct Drive Motor). DCG realizes absolute high speed and low vibration of linear 3-axis, and DDM realizes the world's fastest rotary 2-axis control. The 5-axis machining machine that integrates these two technologies overcomes the problem that large machine tools cannot process large and complex workpieces, and realizes high-precision and high-efficiency machining. It is reported that this is the second time Mori Seiki has won the Machinery Industry Design Award after the 5-axis control high-precision vertical machining center NMV5000DCG won last year.
