Safety precautions for the use of alloy saw blades

by:Gewinn     2021-03-16
1) Operating environment
The machine must be equipped with a protective cover to prevent damage caused by the deterioration of the alloy saw blade and the scattering of fragments. It is forbidden for unrelated persons to approach the workplace. The workplace should be far away from flammable and explosive materials.
2) Clothing, protective equipment
Operators must wear protective glasses to prevent injuries caused by saw blade damage and fragments flying. The operator must pay attention to ties and cuffs. Should place no gloves and long hair in the work cap to prevent being caught in the machine and causing danger.
3) Preparation before use
Ensure that the machine is in good condition, the spindle has no deformation, no vibration, and the shaft diameter tolerance is h7.
Check whether the alloy saw blade is damaged, falling off, abnormal wear, and the body is bent, twisted, cracked, and other strange phenomena to prevent damage to the alloy saw blade, flying away and causing injury.
Confirm whether the selected alloy saw blade is suitable for the material to be cut and prevent abnormal conditions such as abnormal wear, falling off, poor cutting, and overheating of the saw blade. If the wrong selection is made, it may cause damage to the alloy saw blade and material, scattering of fragments, and accidents.
4) Installation
Ensure that the alloy saw blade's rotation direction is consistent with the movement of the machine spindle. If the trend is reversed, the edge will fall off, the fragments will fly, and an accident may occur.
Choose a flange with the same inner diameter as the saw blade and slightly larger than 1/3 of the outer diameter of the saw blade (muti-blade saws should use 1/2 of the outer diameter of the saw blade), and make sure that it has no abnormal wear, bending, and clean surface.
Ensure no excessive gap between the inner diameter of the alloy saw blade and the shaft diameter of the machine. Install the flange and tighten the nut.
Before the operation, make sure that no one is in front of the saw blade. Then run idling to check whether the machine is vibrating, whether the saw blade is horizontally or radially oscillating, and other abnormal phenomena.
The reprocessing of the saw blade (inner diameter correction, positioning hole processing, etc.) must be carried out by the manufacturer. If the processing is improper, it will affect the product use effect and may be dangerous.
When installing, generally, the saw blade is 5-6 teeth higher than the board.
5) In use
When using, the material to be cut needs to be fixed to avoid abnormal cutting, which may cause damage to the saw blade, flying fragments, and accidents.
When in use, if abnormal sound and vibration, rough cutting surface, or bending are found, the operation must be terminated, timely inspection, and troubleshooting. If you continue to use it, it will damage the saw blade, fragments will fly, and accidents will occur.
6) After use
When the saw blade is no longer sharp, and the cut surface is rough, it must be re-grinded in time. Otherwise, the use effect will be affected, and the saw blade may be scrapped, and accidents may occur.
