American Kennametal Outstanding Talents Scholarship Award Ceremony Held at Shanghai University

On the afternoon of December 23, 2011, the Kennametal Scholarship Award Ceremony was grandly held in the Science and Technology Building of Shanghai University. Mr. Zhou Miaocai, General Manager of Kennametal Greater China, Ms. Yin Jingbo, Deputy Dean of the School of Materials, Shanghai University, Ms. Wang Xiaojing, Deputy Dean of the School of Mechanical Automation, and Kennametal Asia Public Affairs Manager Ma Ning, Engineering Solutions Director Zhu Kefu, Recruitment Manager Ye Ying and marketing manager Li Ying attended the ceremony together with the leaders and students of relevant colleges. Zhou Micai, general manager of Kennametal China, also congratulated the winning students and hoped that through the establishment of the Kennametal Scholarship, he would help the students grow up, make achievements in the field of materials science, and give back to the society. Yin Jingbo, Deputy Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and Wang Xiaojing, Deputy Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering delivered speeches at the ceremony respectively. The establishment of the Kennametal Outstanding Talent Scholarship is an affirmation and support for the hard work of many students, which encourages students to study harder and apply what they have learned. They congratulated the winning students and said that they will continue to maintain close cooperation with Kennametal in the future to strengthen school-enterprise cooperation and improve together. General Manager Zhou Miaocai, together with Yin Jingbo, Deputy Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and Wang Xiaojing, Deputy Dean of the School of Mechanical Automation, presented awards to the winning students from the School of Materials Science and Mechanical Automation, and had a pleasant exchange with the winning students. Kennametal has always attached great importance to the development of talents. Since 2007, Kennametal has established the 'Kennametal Talent Excellence Scholarship' in the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Shanghai University, and it has been the fifth session so far. In 2011, a total of 25 students with excellent academic performance and character were awarded the Kennametal Outstanding Talent Scholarship.
