2013 Japan's top ten new product awards came out, and machine tools such as Amada Okuma were on the list

A few days ago, the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun has selected the top ten new product awards in Japan in 2013 (56th). This year's awards are divided into Masuda Award, Top Ten New Product Award, Japanese Brand Award and Manufacturing Award. Among them, the Masuda Award is awarded to the most outstanding products. This year, two products won the award, namely, AMADA's composite sheet metal processing machine LASBEND-AJ and Hitachi's ultra-high-speed data access platform (Hitachi Advanced Data Binder Platform). In 2013 (56th) Japan's top ten new product awards are: DSF-P series high-performance servo continuous stamping system developed by AIDA, NEC's virtual mobile core network solution vEPC, and Sichuan's high-efficiency natural absorption of cold and heat. Efficio, Shimadzu Corporation's imaging quality inspection microscope iMScope, which combines optical microscope and mass spectrometer technology, Hitachi Metal's high-efficiency amorphous alloy 2605HB1M for transformers, and FANUC Robot R, a multi-functional intelligent robot from Fanuc -2000 i C, Fujitsu's UNIX server 'SPARC M10Visualization system ECCS B310. The winners of the Japanese Brand Award are: Sharp's microbial sensor BM-300, Fujikoshi's high-speed and lightweight robot MZ07, and Yaskawa Electric's Σ-7 series AC servo drive. The winners of the manufacturing award are: Okuma's MULTUS U series intelligent compound turning and milling center, CITIZEN's distributed automatic lathe MC20, and DMG Mori Seiki's high-efficiency vertical machining center MAX3000. It is understood that the award was established in 1958 and is awarded to new products that were developed and commercialized in that year, made significant contributions to Japan's national industrial technology, and greatly improved Japan's international competitiveness.
