Brother Industries Japan launches new CNC tapping center TC-S2D

A few days ago, Japan Brother Industry Co., Ltd. launched a new CNC tapping center TC-S2D with high performance and environmental protection. It is suitable for processing clutch boxes, throttle bodies, carburetor housings, compressor cylinders, cam covers, water/oil pumps, intake pipes, master cylinders, and general parts such as gear covers, hydraulic transmission joints in the automobile and motorcycle industry , camera panel and diverter valve, etc. The mass production efficiency of the new model TC-S2D has been significantly improved compared with the original product. Due to the adoption of a new rotary tool magazine driven by an AC servo motor, the tool setting time only takes 0.9s, and the tool exchange can be completed without stopping the Z axis. Under the same conditions of using 9 tools, 12 workpieces with a hole diameter of 5.1mm are processed, and M6 tapping is performed, and 7 fixed-point milling and 2 boring holes are completed at the same time. -S2D only takes 120s, the production time is shortened by 40%, and the daily output can be increased by 50%. At the same time, the structure and rigidity of the TC-S2D's improved base, column and skeleton have been optimized, which can ensure very stable cutting functions such as boring, drilling and milling. The environmental protection function of TC-S2D is also remarkable. Due to the use of high-performance spindle motors and low-inertia spindles to achieve low power consumption, improvements in electrical design have significantly reduced energy consumption and significantly reduced carbon dioxide emissions from machine tools.
