The Japanese government recently announced the 'Robot StrategyBy vigorously popularizing robots, it is committed to helping solve a series of problems caused by shortage of manpower and aging in Japan. The key support areas include nursing care, agriculture, infrastructure inspection, disaster relief and factories. The Japanese government hopes to seize the dominant position in the increasingly competitive global robotics field by means of grants and other means. In 2012, the market size of robots in Japan was about 700 billion yen, and it is expected that by 2020, the domestic market size in Japan will more than triple the size in 12 years, reaching 2.4 trillion yen. According to government estimates, by 2025, there will be about 1 million vacancies for caregivers in Japan. In order to make it easier for caregivers to take care of their care objects, Japan will continue to reduce the price of 'assistance clothing' that can increase physical strength. The number of people over the age of 65 in Japanese farms has reached more than 60%, and the Japanese government will support the development of unmanned tractors and robots for transporting agricultural products.
