Japan's December machine tool orders rose 17.4% year-on-year

The preliminary report of the Japan Machine Tool Industry Association showed that Japan's machine tool orders in December rose 17.4% year-on-year and 3.6% month-on-month to 115.997 billion yen, of which domestic orders rose 12.2% year-on-year and foreign orders rose 19.9% u200bu200byear-on-year. Among them, domestic machine tool orders rose 12.2% year-on-year and fell 6.3% month-on-month to 35.370 billion yen; foreign orders rose 19.9% u200bu200byear-on-year and 8.6% month-on-month to 80.627 billion yen.
