Japan's June machine tool orders revised to a 2.5% year-on-year decline

The Japan Machine Tool Industry Association announced on the 16th that Japan's machine tool orders in June were revised to an annual decrease of 2.5% to 128.42 billion yen, overseas machine tool orders were revised to an annual decrease of 2.7%, and domestic machine tool orders were revised to an annual decrease of 2.1%. According to a comprehensive foreign report on July 16, data released by the Japan Machine Tool Builders' Association on the 16th showed that Japan's June machine tool orders were revised to a year-on-year decrease of 2.5% to 128.42 billion yen. The data was better than an initial estimate released a week ago of a 2.7% year-on-year decline. Japan's machine tool orders rose 1.4% year-on-year in May, after rising 0.4% year-on-year in April. Japan's June overseas machine tool orders were revised down 2.7% year-on-year to 71.64 billion yen, while domestic machine tool orders were revised down 2.1% year-on-year to 56.78 billion yen.
