Japan's large-scale manufacturing confidence index slips in April-June

A survey released by the Japanese government on Monday showed that Japan's manufacturing industry was more pessimistic about the economy from April to June than the previous quarter. The indicator (BSI) was negative 15.1, compared with negative 12.9 in January-March. The survey showed that the large-scale non-manufacturing BSI fell to negative 15.3 in April-June, compared with negative 7.2 in the previous quarter; the overall confidence index of large enterprises was negative 15.2, up The quarter is negative 9.3.
