The Japan Machine Tool Industry Association (JMTBA) announced on November 10 that Japan's machine tool orders in October fell by 42.6% year-on-year and increased by 8.6% month-on-month to 46.756 billion yen. Among them, domestic orders fell by 55.8% year-on-year and 17.6% month-on-month to 16.103 billion yen. Foreign orders fell 32% year-on-year and rose 30.3% month-on-month to 30.653 billion yen.
