NTN will establish a new company to produce and sell bearings for industrial machinery

NTN Corporation (NTN) has decided to establish a new company, NTN NOTO Corporation, in Yuza County, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, to manufacture and sell bearings for industrial machinery. As part of the growth of NTN's strategic investment, NTN will rapidly expand its business in emerging markets targeting the growing demand for industrial machinery. In addition, NTN decided to set up a new company in Yanagida Ward, Ishikawa Prefecture, to expand and strengthen the production capacity of bearings for industrial machinery. The newly established company will manufacture various types of bearing products for construction machinery, industrial machinery industries for wind power, steel, mining, etc. At the same time, the new company will also serve as a freight base to supply bearing products to Asia (especially China) and the rest of the world, thereby expanding the company's sales. In order to improve the production system of super-large bearing products for the company's industrial machinery, NTN has established NTN HAKUI Company, NTN HOUDATSUSHIMIZU Company and NTN SHIKA Company in Yanagida District, Ishikawa Prefecture. After the establishment of NTN NOTO, NTN will speed up its business expansion by using Yanagida District as a large-scale production center for bearings for industrial machinery. NTN NOTO is expected to be completed in December 2010 and officially put into operation in April 2012. At the beginning of the company's establishment, it will employ about 90 employees. With the continuous growth of the company's industrial machinery bearing business, the number of employees will gradually increase.
