From April 13th to 18th, 2010, the 14th Seoul International Machine Tool Expo (SITMOS 2010) sponsored by the Korea Machine Tool Industry Association was successfully held. A total of 3,446 exhibitors from 27 countries participated in this exhibition, attracting more than 70,000 visitors. A highlight of this exhibition is the substantial increase in the number of large machine tools. Another highlight is that many machine tool companies have begun to introduce new products in the automotive field: Hyundai WIA exhibited WH63TM and WH50TFC machine tools for automotive powertrain processing equipment, and Du0026T Dynamics exhibited a high-speed, high-rigidity GHO-200 Type 5-axis CNC gear hobbing machine. In addition, SMEC Corporation and DMD Corporation exhibited small precision machine tools for machining auto parts.
