The new TENDO E small toolholder from SCHUNK eliminates the need for users to adjust their toolholders to the different requirements of milling, drilling and reaming. This hydraulic collet can safely transmit torque (up to 520Nm for a 20mm diameter collet) and is ideal for high volume machining. The important features of TENDO E collet are good vibration damping performance and high radial runout accuracy (less than 0.003mm when the tool length-diameter ratio is 2.5), which can protect the machine tool spindle and tool from damage. The collet is suitable for various common spindle interface types, including HSK-A63, SK40, BT40, CAT40 and CAT50. The collet can be quickly changed with an Allen key.
