French drilling machine Catherine will make the final breakthrough for the Channel Tunnel on June 28.
Catherine will go deep into the British end of the tunnel.
Boring machines in Britain have stopped digging.
The engineers pointed it down and succeeded in burying it in concrete.
Concrete will also be the floor to advance the French machine.
Once the tunnel is completed, the French machine will be removed and the bottom of the tunnel will leave only Catherine\'s \"skirting\"-the shell of the machine.
There are now three tunnels under the Channel.
Two of them will take the train and the other will be the service tunnel.
The tunnel will open on June 1993.
